PRS Custom 22/12

The PRS Custom 22/12 12 String Electric - The Paul Reed Smith Custom Custom 22/12 features a hum-single-hum configuration, a redesigned, fully intonatable bridge and special humbucking pickups specifically designed for 12-string guitars.

After many years of Paul Reed Smith and his Private Stock team building one-off 12-strings, this model incorporates all the special neck dimensions, nut spacing, bridge design, fingerboard radius, string gauges and setup specifications that make the custom built instruments play so smoothly.

Historical notes:

The Custom was Paul Reed Smith's first commercial electric guitar model, introduced at the NAMM trade show in 1986.

Beginning in 1994, the Custom 22 -- a 22-fret version -- was introduced. Aside from the obvious fewer number of frets, the Custom 22 is outfitted with Dragon II covered humbucking pickups.
