    Default Playing a large festival

Some fans in the Essex area of UK started a twitter campaign to get my band, the Pieces of Mind on a festival lineup, without us knowing about it. Midge Ure, who is headlining on the Sunday got to see the campaign and responded on Twitter:

'Come on Brentwood...a great band who could teach most of the newbies a trick or two!!!'

Midge along with Rhod Gilbert was involved in the BBC documentary we did last year.

The festival organisers then contacted me and we are now going to be playing on the Sunday, when Midge will be playing.

It's not as large as Glastonbury or Woodstock but it's still big with the likes of Status Quo, Midge Ure, Heaven 17 & Go West on the lineup.

Their web site will be updated in the next week or so to reflect us appearing. Apparently they are waiting for a quote from Midge, who is currently in the States.
