    Default Ohm question

I have a 65amps head with two speaker cab inputs on the back. Centered below both it reads "16 ohms." There is no switch. Do you think this means 1 8 ohm or 2 16 ohm cabs? I tried contacting 65amps, but have not received a response.

I would think it indicates something like one 16-ohm cab, or two daisy chained 8-ohm cabs, or whatever adds up to 16 ohms per output.

I have a London - I just use a pair of 16 ohm cabs. You really can't hurt it if you go one high on impedance.

    Too many guitars.
    Even more amps.
    Waiting for an intervention, here.

    Jon:
That's what I heard on another forum as well. I hooked up my 2nd 16 ohm cabinet last night and it sounded great. I just replaced two bad EL84s, and now it just sings. Don't think I've heard a better "pedal" amp.
