Default 3rd Knaggs NGD: Tier 1 Severn in "Wicked Burst"!

So I am back with a vengeance on this forum here in 2016, but it seems I found my way to a different section than usual!!

NGD from late last week, a Tier 1 Severn with a killer quilt top and a very cool "Wicked Sunburst" finish.

Looks great with my Paisley Head and Cab!

Cool 12th Fret Dragonfly inlay, great quilt top and finish.

Insane flame on the Maple neck!

This one was hand-picked for tone from Willcutt's great inventory of Severns (thanks, Eric!!), and it sounds and plays amazing!

I am very excited about this one. It is really my very first true Strat formula guitar ever, as in 3 single-coils, 25.5" scale, pick guard, etc. As you would expect, it gets great Stratty tones, and does everything a guitar like this should, especially in positions 2 and 4 on the 5-way.

I have been really determined this year in thinking about expanding my horizons in my collection and in my playing, I have been too focused in on my Short Scale Singlecuts and Doublets, all with similar tones. This one inspires me to learn play different songs and tones!

After playing this a while over the past few days, I feel like I can get used to the differences versus my usual suspects, 25.5" scale length, 8.5" Fingerboard Radius, "Tall Thin" Frets, slightly narrower nut width.

    I dig this one!!

Killer guitars Pete...now I know why you've been so hush hush on the PRS Front lately.

    Thanks!

Actually not so quiet on the PRS front. Just got one of the 26 McCarty 594's (AWESOME) and put another 594 in the oven at the Vault!

And HECK NO re any seconds coming to the open market!! Keeping my 4 (soon to be 5) incredible DC and SC Ted and 594 Short Scale Private Stocks.

Although a few items DID get traded for some stuff going on here, the Brent Mason, the Black Cherry SC 245 PS, and the Private Stock Acoustic...

Just gorgeous Pete and the awesome burst reminds me of the desert fade stain
Everyone has to have the single coil's special sounds.
Congrats, enjoy your new journey in these soundscapes
