Here's an AMAZING '62 Les Paul Junior (Serial# 44099). It was purchased by a doctor who bought it new and owned it for about a year before he died. His wife kept it in a closet and eventually sold it back to American Music in Bellevue Washington, the store he originally purchased it from 10 years earlier. The music store contacted Howard Leese about the guitar, which he purchased, and kept sequestered away in his collection, up until this last year when he decided to sell. There are no breaks and have been no repairs. The frets are in excellent condition, as is the rest of the guitar. It plays and sounds great! The guitar, as you can tell from the pictures, exhibits a lot less wear than your average 47 year old instrument. It comes with a plush, rectangular, Gibson SG case which is a newer than the guitar, but it's that or a plastic bag, your choice! Shipping & insurance will be determined on the buyers location. Payment by PayPal (if the buyer handles the fees, wire transfer, cashiers check, or personal check (shipping after the check clears). The guitar does not come with a letter from Howard. Howard is a member, and has his own section, on the guitar forum of which I am owner and administrator: Vintage Rocker. The guitar should be purchased on the face value of what it is, not any added provenance that might come from being previously owned by a celebrity. I only provide the story above to give you a basic history of the guitar. Thanks - "fretbuzz" ![]() |
