Default The great Maas Debate (caution contains photos of a dirty nature)

Its a little known fact that they based the idea for the Alien's acid blood on my sweat. I can turn shiny guitar parts to something that Mr Trussart would be proud of in a matter of minutes.

Over the years I have tried various ways of cleaning. Unfortunately any enquires on the forums always bring the same reply; Use Maas they say. Then procede to say you can get it in any 'insert name of US hardware store here' shop. But at last I found some people in the UK able to sell it mail order. Pretty damn expensive it is too. £14 quid for a tube (thats around $20 for our ex-colonies).

So tonight with tube in hand I entered into the Mass Debate. Exhibit 1: My poor PRS SC (2001) bridge. I decided to just try a small dab worked into one side on the bridge with my finger for a couple of mins. Then a polish off with a clean cloth.

ZOMG!!! Theres metal under there. This stuff is magic! Sod wrapping hick's arm up with a bandage. Alien blood? No problem, just slap on some Maas.

So heres the photos to show the dramatic effect. Thank you Maas!

That bridge actually looks very cool. But I have to ask, do you have one of these on order?

I did a search on amazon mike. One of their marketplace sellers does it. The invoice is at work, I'll dig it out in the morning.

Maas is the single best metal polish I have ever found.

Mike,

The company was 'Heyes Clean' on www.heyesclean.co.uk

Its listed as "MAAS Metal Polish 4oz (113g) creme" @ £13.50 .

As I said expensive, but given the tiny amount I used to test I think one tube would last years.

Sounds like good stuff. Looks as if it does the job.
